Ate here with a large party, no reservations but they were able to accommodate us as a walk-in. Food was very good! They even made some dishes without gluten (sensitivity) which is one main reason we wanted to try. Good service, good food. Definitely on our list to go again.

We stopped by for lunch on New Years Day hoping they'd be open They were with a nice crowd already inside about 1pm. I saw one server helping about 6 tables. She did a good job. Food was great and I eat a lot of chinese food (from the Bay Area) so I was happily and pleasantly surprised. This out of the way place did a great job - we each got a combination plate- the generals chicken and the kung pao chicken. Each item on the plate was fantastic. Will be back again when we're back up in Cold Springs! Thanks so much!!

Ordered potstickers, princess shrimp, general chicken and rice. The potstickers were really good, crispy outside, flavorful filling and the dipping sauce was this sweet but really good and I'm usually not the biggest potstickers fan. Princess shrimp reminds me of honey walnut shrimp but with a more savory sauce, recommend. General chicken was just ok I always order it at Chinese places and I've had better more flavorful and spicy versions but it wasn't bad. Glad they reopened, will be back I heard the orange chicken is good.

My husband has ordered food from here twice in the past week. China House of Twain Harte reopened a little while ago - under new ownership - and it's great to see and hear that they're as busy as ever and still going out of their way to make sure that their dishes are made with love and care. From my understanding the menu hasn't changed much since the reopening and the original owners gave guidance on many of the original dishes and recipes. I also have heard that if you have issues with gluten - that the new owners are fairly well versed in advising which dishes would be the best fit for you etc. My husband's current go to order is their chow mein and their sesame chicken. China House of Twain Harte's menu is extensive and they offer a plethora of quality vegetarian options as well. If you're looking for a tasty lunch or dinner - or some quality takeout - def be sure to stay on top of China House of Twain Harte. Trust.

Very clean and great service. Good food and wide selection. Average price about $15 a plate. We had pot stickers. Excellent flavor and crispy. We had the chow mien beef. Could used a little more meat but other wise good and fresh. Not greasy at all.

So happy to see this restaurant back open! New owners but original owners are still involved so the quality of food hasn't changed! There was a little bit of a wait on a Friday evening but so glad they were able to seat us. Love that they bring a different type of cuisine to Twain Harte.
